With a marriage spanning over 40 years, Richard and Vivian Crabbe bring a wealth of experience to their marriage ministry, which has flourished for more than 35 years. Their journey began with Family Life Mission, where they served communities in Ghana and Germany, honing their skills and earning certification as marriage counselors. Vivian’s dedication is further demonstrated through her active membership in the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Prior to their relocation from Ghana to the U.S. in 2002, they underwent rigorous training at Family Life Mission e.V. in Germany. This institution, renowned for its non-denominational and international approach to pastoral care and marriage counseling, provided them with invaluable skills and insights. Their unwavering commitment to nurturing healthy relationships continues to inspire and empower couples on their own marital journey, ensuring their ministry remains impactful and transformative.

Mr. and Mrs. Crabbe embarked on their ministry journey within Ghanaian churches, swiftly ascending to prominence through their impactful contributions to the “Woman to Woman” radio program. Upon their relocation to the United States, their outreach evolved, encompassing speaking engagements at prominent national events. Additionally, they took the initiative to host a monthly teleseminar focused on Relationships and Marriage, broadcasted through PENSA’s esteemed platform, “Disciples of Christ Line.”

Since September 2017, their insightful program has transcended traditional broadcasting, transitioning into a widely accessible podcast format on radio stations across the Caribbean and Argentina. This expansion has enabled them to connect with a diverse global audience, spanning continents from Australia to Ukraine. Furthermore, the Crabbes remain dedicated to their mission, regularly delivering impactful talks on fostering healthy relationships and marriages to enthusiastic audiences of youth and couples within churches throughout the United States.

Richard and Vivian Crabbe, esteemed authors and marriage counselors, have left an indelible mark on the literary landscape with their insightful books. Collaborating with Prof. Stephen and Mrs. Georgina Adei, they authored “How to Enjoy Your Marriage,” a valuable resource for counselors navigating the complexities of marital dynamics.

Currently, they’re preparing to release their eagerly awaited third book, “Help! I Want to Get Married,” catering specifically to singles seeking guidance in their pursuit of matrimony. Additionally, they’re passionately working on “Securing Your Family: Investing in the Next Generation,” a comprehensive guide aimed at empowering parents to nurture strong family bonds. Before embarking on their journey to the United States, Richard served as the head of Africa Christian Press, while Vivian pursued her career as a renowned professional clothes designer specializing in wedding attire. They now reside in Burke, Virginia, USA, with their five daughters, continuing to inspire and empower individuals and families worldwide through their writings and counseling expertise.
